Stop Motion Camera Problems, Please Help

Stop Motion Camera Problems, Please Help

Postby muppetaz » Wed Sep 12, 2012 12:26 am

Hello, I'm Muppetaz, and this is my first post. I have created an account on this website because I make stop motion videos, and have been having trouble with my camera. I used to make alot of videos a while back, but started making less and less as I started noticing the problems. Whenever I take a picture, the camera decides how much light to take in to get the best results for the photo, this is a problem because when I playback the video, each photo's lighting is diffrent. I know it's the camera, because the lighting in the room is consistant, and I did not have this problem with my old camera. Also, every time I press down on the button to take a photo, the camera, which is sitting on a tripod, gets pressed down very slightly; this is very noticible in the final product. My camera is a regular, old Canon didgital camera, not meant for stop motion. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, or knows of a better type of camera to use, please help me. Thank you.
