PLEASE HELP!!!
I'm new at this and I was wondering if anyone can help me. I'm building a 5 in figure for a stop motion animation using 1/16" 32" armature wire made by Richeson Tool and then apply epoxy putty on his chest, pelvis, arm and legs leaving wire exposed by his elbow and knees. Now my question(s) is that Im using Claytoon clay and I've noticed it's too soft. Everytime I bend him it smushes. Do I need to fill his body with like foil to give it a body and then apply the clay to it,or do I use a better clay. I bought Roma Plastilina #2 but I haven't used it yet. Is this a better clay? Also, for his feet what can I use so I can bend them for him to walk? Right now all I have is a single armature wire twisted but the wire rips right through it and there is no support. One more question..what do I do with the clay keep ripping everytime I move him?? Please help.
