The key to removing the pole / rigging is to use a paint program to erase or paint over the pole in each picture or frame.

Look in the folder where your stop motion framegrabbing software package stores your captured frames. Locate the ones that have the pole showing in them. Open each one in sequence with a simple paint program such as Paint or if you know how to use Gimp or Paint.net or Photoshop then you can use one of them. In this case there are only 3 pictures that need to be edited.

To open them simply highlight the one you want to edit and click Open With and chose Paint as shown Once here.
Once you have loaded the picture in to Paint it should look something like this.

Now you want to remove the pole so to do this you are going to paint in the background color over the top of the pole. So when you have the color picker tool chosen click onthe background color (blue ) near the pole ,but not too near in case there are any shadows.

Now you brush or pencil will use this color to paint.

You should have the color of the background chosen now.

Next chose the Brush tool and the brush size shown here.

Now just paint over the pole. It will look like you are erasing the pole whereas in fact you are overwriting or painting using the background color.

The picture here shows most of the pole painted over and little bit left to finish.

When you have completely painted over the pole save the file and move on to the next picture.
