“This physical world is merely a shadow of that other,

more solid, spirit realm.” – unknown author

(Released April 2007)

NEW:  I’ve recently completed and uploaded a “full length” version of this film free of the 15-second time limitation required by the contest it was originally created for.  I’ve also uploaded a “Making Of” video containing some of the test footage I shot and “behind-the-scenes” photos of my animation set-up.  See table below for links to these videos.  (added 12-30-2007)

Roughly translated “The Destruction of Death’s Grip”, this very short film was my submission to the Brickfilms.com “EASTER Festival 2007” 15-second film contest.  [It placed 5th out of 16 films.]  Only my second “brickfilm”, this was my first go at using “brick” sets (made from LEGO and MegaBloks), multiple camera angles, special lighting techniques and animated, customized LEGO mini-figures.

Special thanks to Ben Widlicka for his role as my Latin Consultant.

Thanks to my wife and three children for sharing me with this project.  They are my greatest blessing and my first and foremost audience.
